Weave
Woven Textile Study
A structural weave study exploring traditional Scandinavian loom techniques translated into contemporary textile constructions for interior and apparel applications.
The project examined plain weave, twill, and herringbone structures across undyed natural fibres — linen, wool, and nettle — documenting how weave architecture alone creates surface interest and material personality without surface pattern. Samples were produced on a four-shaft floor loom and reviewed against tension, drape, and light response.
